Art in the Park was initiated some thirty years ago by a group of dedicated volunteers who were members of the Gallery in the Grove at Wildwood Park. In their first year they started with ten exhibitors. Under the stewardship of the Gallery in the Grove this event became one of the area’s premier community events. Art in the Park is recognized today as one of the most successful art shows in Southwestern Ontario. When the Gallery in the Grove could not continue with Art in the Park in 2010 the Rotary Club of Sarnia–Bluewaterland  entered into an agreement with the Gallery to assume the sponsorship of this major community event.
